Ijen Crater is a volcano which has
an altitude of 2,386 meters above sea level, a lake depth of 200 meters with an
area of 5,466 hectares.
Blue Fire Ijen Crater is a natural
phenomenon of blue fire that occurs because burning sulfur gas emerges from the
lava dome contained in the Ijen Crater volcano, this phenomenon can be seen at
night or when the situation is still dark.
Besides you can enjoy the natural
beauty of the Blue Fire and Ijen Crater lake, you can also see directly the
activities of traditional sulfur miners who work every day at the bottom of
Mount Ijen Crater.
